NALOXONE
Learn how to save a life.
Opioid overdose can result from taking prescribed medications, or from using illicit drugs.
Naloxone is the antidote to an opioid overdose. It is safe and easy to use.
We can train individuals or groups how to use Naloxone. You do not need to be a clinic patient.
The training will teach you how to recognize an opioid overdose and how to respond so that you can save someone's life.
The training is free for everyone.
People at risk of overdose and friend/family of those at risk are eligible to receive a Take Home Naloxone Kit free of charge. Other people can purchase Naloxone Kits from pharmacies.
If you are interested in learning how to save a life, give us a call (250-374-2345) or talk to our staff when you are in the office.

Once you complete the training, a certificate will be provided. Bring it in and we will provide you with a kit.
